Working of Automated Spillway Gates : A Study Through Physical Models (Project, 8th Semester) (Jan-Jun’19)

Designed Visvesvaraya Gate and saddle siphon spillway with the help of case studies.

SGI (Studio Galli Ingegneria) India Pvt Ltd (13 February 2020 to till date) as a Junior Engineer, work on project 24 X 7 water supply in Pune.

• Daily attend RFI (Request for inspection) of pipe laying and ESR & GSR site. Give the permission to start work and also reject the work if quality of work is not as per methodology. Weekly and monthly ESR & GSR and pipe laying report are made.

• Co-ordinate L&T Engineer with PMC Engineer regarding status of work and if issue come.

• Attend RFI of ESR & GSR and Check R/F and shuttering as per approved drawing, Check quality of concrete at time concreting by taking slump cone test, make report of respective concreting work and mail to PMC Engineer.

• After 7,14,28 day take the compressive strength of concrete on Respective concrete cube

(150x150x150 mm), Check quality of steel on site and laboratory.

• Factory inspection as per Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).

• Participate in monthly meeting with PMC engineer for monthly status of pipe laying and ESR & GSR Project at Savarkar Bhawan.

Internship Experiences:-

Swaraj Civil Engineering Consultancy Pvt Ltd (7 January 2019 to 11 February 2020) as Site Engineer, Client - Pune Municipal Corporation.

• Daily site visit and make report and coordinate assigned portions of the contract work between the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) office and the contractor on projects.

• Filing and record keeping of project documentation drawings and reports as directed.
