Experience in the power generation industry as a system engineer. Job entailed a focus on maintenance of plant equipment and plant modification projects. Responsibilities include:

Diagnosing plant issues relate to the aforementioned systems’ equipment issues, provided scope or instruction for repairs and monitored equipment performance.

Managed contractors working on the systems I was responsible for.

Lead Investigator on investigations related to the systems I work on. Utilized Root Cause Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis and provided recommendations for corrective actions.

Designed budget and cost estimates for plant modification projects with accuracy while working closely with stakeholders and management to determine the best course of action for the lifecycle of the plant equipment

CONSULTANT • ENGINEERS WITHOUT BORDERS • 2016 – 2017 Participated in a team which conducted an energy audit (2016) and a water audit (2017) for the Durban and District Child Welfare under the supervision of a professional engineer registered with ECSA to fulfill the vacation work requirement of the BSc.
