My duties as Owner/Project Manager included planning for job scope, scheduling manhours, finding cost effective solutions for bids, tracking schedule, acquired applicable permits, overseeing the safety of employees and assuring that jobs were completed to applicable codes. I worked through the Boilermakers after serving a 4 year apprenticeship for various contractors in the position of General Foreman, Steward, and Foreman. Daily duties included overseeing quality and safety of crew, reviewing drawing-blueprints and tracking job to assure scheduled was maintained. These positions where conducted in steel mills, refineries and fossil power plants. Jobs included rigging, setting and aligning of vessels up to 300 Tons, ductwork, fans, structural steel, steam lines, water wall panels, Low NOX burners, supply headers, heat exchangers, and pumps. Welding and final inspection of ductwork, slag pots, tray towers, electrostatic precipitators, water walls, air heaters, valves, structural steel, repairing pressure vessels and various size piping.
