I have hands-on experience with all mechanical operations as I had Mechanical as a vocational subject in HSC prior to Engineering.

BE PROJECT : Advanced modified Walker

The objective was to enable the user to support walker from walking of flat surfaces as well as inclined surface and climbing stairs vice versa.

Currently there aren’t any affordable walkers for climbing stairs which can give a rigid and stable support. So to solve this issue we designed a walker which uses adjustable leg lengths mechanism with the help of simple knob brake arrangement and some other modification in the existing structures of walker .

I contributed to the team by R&D of multiple mechanisms and proposed knob brake mechanism. I also worked on Solidworks, Proe, Catia for designing the model view and for its analysis I used Ansys software.

As I had prior knowledge of working of mechanical operations, I significantly contributed to develop the walker.
