Education
I have been homeschooled since fourth grade and am currently a senior in high school. Since my junior year, I have been dual-enrolled at Cochise College, having been awarded the Running Start Academy Scholarship, and am taking all of my math and science classes there. I have a 4.0 GPA and am in the honor society, Phi Theta Kappa, at Cochise College. Experience
I was voted the Cochise College science club’s treasurer and have worked at homeless shelters, serving food, fixing buildings, and cleaning. I teach at Sunday school and have gone on mission trips with my church to serve the local community in New Orleans. I was on the Buena varsity swim team my sophomore year of high school and have swam for the Sierra Vista club team. I am a principal dancer at the Sierra Vista Ballet. Awards and Acknowledgements
International Science and Engineering Fair finalist (2020), grand prize winner of the Youth Engineering and Science Fair (2020 and 2017), the Sulfur Springs Valley Electric Company Foundation award (2020), the Office of Naval Research award (2020 and 2019), and the Southwest Desert Images award (2020). I have participated in the Arizona State Swim and Dive Championship (2018). I have been awarded an Academic Achievement Scholarship to Harding University and have been invited to apply for the full-tuition Trustee Scholarship at the same university.
