Responsible for the accurate reporting of the wind down of a $31B global real estate and conduit loan portfolio due to the takeover of Merrill Lynch and conflicts with the Bank Holding Company Act. I ensured that total informational transparency existed on the underlying collateral of these portfolios. I transitioned portfolios and technology and informational requirements to investors such as Blackstone over the disposition transition period. I effectively managed the transition of information to buyer’s infrastructure platforms and ensured that all regulatory and compliance standards were met.

Developed a global asset management system, RAMS, to manage the accurate reporting of 31B global portfolio consisting of real estate, CMBS derivatives, and alternative asset class principal investments held in 12 currencies. Using SQL Server, and a Microsoft Access Reporting engine that was productionized via a COM wrapper. I designed, developed and implemented the global reporting platform that housed all real estate, loans, and principal investments that served as a basis for corporate reporting until the takeover by Bank of America.

Working globally, I developed strong international relationships and synergies with regional CFO and COO offices to facilitate the accurate and timely flow of information during the pre-investment period as well and the hold and disposition cycles. Designed and implemented mobile underwriting platform used in the deconstruction and analysis of failed/non-performing loan pools.

Designed, developed, and implemented the collateral analysis tool that finally moved Merrill Lynch off of mainframe dependency and into distributed personal computing. Responsible for the collateral analysis of all residential and commercial securitizations of the governments RTC (Resolution Trust Corporation) cleanup of failed savings and loan institutions.
