Ensure the raw material provided by the suppliers is which meet the client requirements for the

specified dimensions.

Blasting inspection.

To check the preparations are made as per the WPS/drawing.

Check welding machines for correct amperage /voltage as per the applicable WPS and

documenting these quality assurance inspections, correct electrode diameter and specification

and that the welder is working within their qualification parameters.

Perform Visual inspection on completed weld.

PMI of completed weld.

Following PWHT & NDT activities.

Following Hydro test.

Documenting all records and moved on to final inspection.

SKILLS:

Have attended ARAMCO/API audits.

A confident self starter with sound decision making skills.

Better experience in BOROSCOPIC METHOD.

Strong working knowledge in WELD OVERLAY CLADDING.

Have a sound knowledge in material inspection, welding and consumables.

Have an ability to communicate with both client and contract side.

Develop process validation reports for NDT methods.
