● Also in charge of the Emergency Department,
evaluate (full history/mental exam), stabilize and dispose of patients. Any intervention with patients
(medications/restrictions) within the 24 hour shift is discussed with the psychiatrist on call for any
medication change, patient disposition or needs to be admitted.
● Dealt with autistic, suicidal/homicidal,
schizophrenics, schizoaffective, hypersexual,
anti-social, oppositional-defiant patients, etc., and ordered the following medications to stabilize or treat patients, these are; Zydis, Seroquel, Haldol, vistaryl, Ativan, lithium, Catapress, etc and at times soft

● This was accomplished by reviewing medical
records, performing detailed medical histories and physicals. Evaluate and determine military
suitability by means of medical examination in order to determine approval/disapproval for processing at MEPS. They do not provide malpractice coverage
since we are covered by the Gonzalez Act.

Professional Boxing Cutman
● Responsible for preventing and treating physical damage to a fighter during the breaks between rounds of a full contact match such as boxing, kickboxing or a mixed martial arts bout.
● I handled swelling, nosebleeds and lacerations. The rules of full contact sports stipulate that these injuries can be a cause for premature match stoppage,
counting as a loss to the injured fighter. During the athletes training period I would evaluate injuries and determine if he was fit for a professional fight.
