(Spanish and English) started from nursery all the way to high school. Learning English has helped throughout my career. It has been a blessing and I consider myself fortunate with the education I received.
Communication Skills
As Guest Services host is very important to be an effective communicator. The communication that you filter between the Guest and Guest Services is crucial to reflect on the Guest reviews (scores). When the communication is effective by the phone or when you face the Guest at the front desk, it translates to Guest satisfaction and excellent comments. I consider my communication with Guest very friendly and effective. Also, I have learned to be a proactive communicator with my leaders, giving the best feedback to my direct report.
Leadership
I chose to work with Guest Services because I like helping others. My role as a Customer service agent or Guest Services host involved dealing with issues and situations that needed assistance. Experience and support from my leaders allowed me the liberty of decision making to solve issues.
