Being a YES Teen Ambassador meant being second behind the supervisor in the component and providing and taking on leadership and leading the daily lessons. Our job was to take care of our component when it came to gardening, research, and reaching out towards locals within our community within the fall, and during summer we came up with agricultural activities and projects and going out to educate the community and young kids about healthy eating and food deserts, while growing, building and taking care of gardening and cooking back at our main location at the YES Program within the component.
