RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review of Contract drawings, specification and prepare bill of quantities.

• Preparation of drawing, material submittal and Getting approval from consultant, estimation of quantity for procurement and coordinating with installation of MEP system for the building.

• Review of Heat load calculations, friction loss and static pressure calculation.

• Ducting design and installation with all accessories like damper, fire damper. Actuators etc.

• Hydraulic head calculation for pumps.

• Installation all type of Exhaust fans, Fresh air fans, and make up air fans, pressurization fans, and automatic smoke exhaust fans etc.

• Ensure the HVAC Ducts, Fittings, accessories and Child water pipes, fittings, accessories are available and approved by Inspection department prior to installation.

• Coordinate with other discipline and ensure site clearance is available to start the HVAC Activities

• Arrange the sufficient manpower such as Supervisor, Foreman, Duct fitter, pipe fitter, Assistant duct and pipe fitter etc.., and ensure all of them attended safety orientation and having proper PPE’s prior start installation activities at site

• Installation of Chillers, Chilled Water Pumps, Air handling units, Fan coil units, Fans and all the HVAC Related Equipment’s as per the drawings and specification.

• Address problems that might develop, between consultant and subcontractors.

• Coordinate & manage MEP related materials, systems & shop drawings submittals

• Conducting construction coordination meetings with MEP subcontractors, consultant and resolving field conflicts and problems, reviewing progress against programs, reviewing drawings & materials against specification.

• Get Clarification for the quires in contract and design by rising RFI to Consultants.

• Compliance to HSE requirements and all applicable legislation and contractual requirements affecting the HSE activities at site.

• Attending the Project Progress Meetings and also the Technical and co-ordination Meetings with architects, consultant, main contractor and Clients.

• Ensure the Project Mile Stones are achieved as per the project plan and the execution, Testing & Commissioning works are completed prior to the project completion date.

• To ensure the Operations & Maintenance manuals as well as handover documents are in line with contract specification and requirements.
