Legacy Online/Batch Mainframe IMS/COBOL Conversion Project.

Project Lead/DB SQL Server and Oracle DB Developer 2016-2018

Significant cost saving were met with application rewrite, seamlessly accomplishing Data Migration/Integration, managing all aspect including, development, testing, and implementation, to meet a critical date. Closely collaborating with stakeholders to understand and extract/transform business data on SQL Server and Oracle 11.2G DB to create a new Oracle 12C DB.

The Data Integration project delivered on time using Agile Methodology and used JIRA for staging all the Agile stories and documentations. As the designated backup Scrum Master, and lead technician for all aspect of data migration, responsibility included, managing, designing, coding, testing of the Data Migration system rewrite project. The project required consolidation of 2 highly sensitive system; Employee suspicious incident system (CSI) on SQL Server DB platform and Case Management/ SARs (DNR) on Oracle DB platform, under very aggressive timeframe. This also included developing the compliance SAR reporting to FINCEN (US Treasury). The data resided on an Oracle DB and SQL Server DB, and required a strong knowledge of both business models. The Data Migration utilized a combination of methodologies including SSIS to move data from SQL Server DB, merging it with data from oracle DB, massaging the data and then loading it into Oracles DB.

Successfully installed, configured and managed/support Vendor software - IIS redirect to Apache Tomcat application server on an Oracle DB platform.
