EDUCATION
Rutgers University, School of Engineering New Brunswick, NJ Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering May 2023
• GPA: 3.64/4.00
• Academic Honors: Dean’s List 2/2 Semesters
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Rutgers University New Brunswick, NJ
Research Assistant July 2020-Present
• Dr. Benaroya – Lunar Bases
• Extensively researching lunar structures, spacecraft mechanisms, and the transfer of technologies to the moon with a small team of undergraduate and graduate students
• Performing specific research on the 3D-printing and transfer/design of lunar structures University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) Philadelphia, PA Software Engineering Intern June 2017-August 2017
• Project 1: Analyzed and recorded the spread of human skin cancer cells with PET scan data from Mount Sinai Hospital o Measured the distance between each cell at different times using the program “3D Builder” to approximate the rate at which the cells multiply
• Project 2: Transformed virtual reality gaming technology, “Leap Motion”, into a virtual reality surgery tool o Edited the device to perform features that surgeons would frequently need like an angle at which the scalpel is held and eliminating shaky hands to best provide realistic training for medical students LEADERSHIP
AIAA Rutgers Rocket Propulsion Laboratory New Brunswick, NJ Active Participant July 2020-Present
Goal of the club is to push the boundaries of collegiate rocketry in the pursuit of reaching space
Use applied aerodynamics and properties of rocket propulsion and a substantial amount of hands on work to create an efficient rocket design
Engineers in Action New Brunswick, NJ
Active Participant/Bridge Design September 2019-Present
Goal of the club is to design and install bridges in third world countries to help give back through effective use of engineering skills
Used programs such as AutoCAD to design simple trusses and bridge supports to maximize stability and functionality while minimizing maintenance costs
Work productively as a group to find the most cost effective strategies to supply construction materials using excel functions to minimize costs
PROJECTS
Electric Car September 2019-June 2020
• Designed and constructed an electric car (6’ by 3’) capable of driving, steering, and accelerating/decelerating
• Used AutoCAD to design, 3D print, and test the structural integrity and aerodynamics of the chassis
• Used my knowledge from Physics E&M (circuits and electric motors) to create a dual motor system able to accelerate and decelerate
Maglev Train
Team Captain April 2020-June 2020
Worked with a team to create a magnetic levitating train able to travel without any human interaction
Designed and manufactured a maglev train using AutoCAD
Competed and placed 3rd out of 50 other teams based on the design and practicality of the project Life-Size Trebuchet September 2018-June 2019
Designed and constructed a life size trebuchet capable of accurately shooting a 3-point basketball shot with a regulation sized basketball
Learned and used AutoCAD to design the structure of the trebuchet
Built the trebuchet based off the correct load needed to shoot the basketball with an accurate trajectory TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Digital Datcom, Matlab, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor, 3D Builder, 3D Printing, Bilingual
