JOB PROFILE;
Presently working with Ultratech Cement, Sidhi Cement Works { A flagship of ADITYA BIRLA Group } as Section Head(Mech) at Kiln & Coal Mill & Coal handling section where in I am responsible for all the preventive, predictive maintenance planning, procurement of maintenance items, scheduling of maintenance activities as well as lead the team to proactive solutions. Implementation of WCM activities, train workmen for it, encouraging them for enhancing their efficiencies. I am also the team leader for JISHU HOZEN activities for Kiln & Coal Mill. I am also an in house certified ISO auditor and certified trainer for HIRA module being implemented in the plant under Du-Pont’s guideline.
Previously I have worked, Hirmi Cement Works as Section Head(Mech) at Cement Mill & Coal handling section where in I was responsible for all the planning, procurement of maintenance items, scheduling of maintenance activities as well as lead the team to proactive solutions. We achieved a major reduction in grease consumption through continuous improvement & modifications & brought it down to about 5.6Kg from the running consumption of 10.8Kg. Then we made several in-house modification in circuits to reduce spillages & improve housekeeping in the area. Also I worked at Crusher section wherein I achieved zero stoppage running on account of mechanical.
I also have first hand exposure of handling of Vertical Roller Mill’s as at Rawan Cement Works I was looking after Lime & Coal Handling & Grinding. I was also entrusted with maintenance & Quality system implementation at Coal Handling including Wagon Tippler, Coal Conveying, stacking & reclaiming system. There I was able to reduce demurrages on mechanical account by upto 80% as compared to previous years with proactive & team working approach.
I also have an exposure to Packing Plant as I was Section Head (Mech) of Packing Plant for 4 years wherein I looked after the complete maintenance of Packers, material conveying equipments, wagon loading and truck loading machines. Also we successfully installed & commissioned Packer up gradation to 55mm size nozzle from 50mm size.
Also requirement based my services are utilised in sections like Cement Mill, Kiln, Line 2 Raw Mill (Roller Press). Therein all the major overhauling specially at Roller Press wherein roller replacement, g/box replacement were planned & executed by me.
Also I have experience of commissioning activities in our line-2 project at Rawan cement Works (10000TPD) line where we erected and commissioned roller press, elevators and ensured smooth and safe operation of them. I also played critical role in stabilization of plant and operation where in hand with KHD persons we brain stormed on several issues and came up with efficient and cost effective solutions. The projects readiness to operate activities (RTO) for Raw Mills, Coal Mill & cooler area were carried out by me wherein we averted so many probable break downs during the course.
July-2006 to FEB2007
Worked with Larsen and Toubro as Application Specialist (Eutectic Division) where in I was posted at Satna and was looking after the whole territory, providing technical solutions to our esteemed customers like J.P Group, B.K.Birla Group. ACC (Kymore), Ordinance Factory and Marble Mining Units as and when required. My major successful job achievements over there were repair of Girth Gear Spring Plate at Birla Cement Works, reclaimed geared coupling of Roller Press for Maihar Cement Works, joining of lip plate for mines of Prism Cement Works. Reclaimed clinker hammer crusher rotor discs for J.P group. Solved the problem of frequent wearing out of screw conveyors flight in Coal Mill at ACC Kymore.

· PACKERS: EEL made with a capacity of 180tph

The work consisted of design and manufacturing of a machine for the production of country roofing tiles.
The project for the final semester was appreciated & sponsored by
KARNATAKA STATE COUNCIL FOR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (K.S.C.S.T).
The manufactured machine was selected for the inter state exhibition held in
September 2003 in Karnataka.
