Designed and implemented new Commvault Hyperscale backup system to replace outdated tape system. This system included offsite replication for disaster recovery. This resulted in faster, more granular backups and restores that completed in minutes instead of hours.
Setup and rolled out Airwatch Mobile Device Management system. Migrated over 2,000 agency phones from Good mdm to Airwatch resulting in less downtime and easier management. Also allows easy access to internal websites and application via phone browser (Airwatch vpn).
Upgraded 5 node OES 2011 cluster to OES 2018 resulting in better security, higher speed and more flexibility in share management.
Managed Vmware cluster on Cisco UCS hardware.
Pushed applications and changes with scripting and policies.

Sr. Storage Solutions Architect
Responsible for designing complex storage and backup systems based on meeting or exceeding customer requirements for speed, size replication and archiving. This includes ensuring clean integration with the other elements in the customer’s site.
Helped secure a large deal by designing a Disaster Recovery solution that met all of the client’s needs. By utilizing Netapp Snapmirror and Oracle Dataguard, ensured the Disaster Recovery site was always prepared with data meeting their Recovery Point Objective and Recovery Time Objective.
Designed a system utilizing Netapp self-encrypting disks and Netbackup encryption to meet a customer’s compliance needs and secure the sale.
Saved money for a client and kept them happy when they needed offsite retention of backups added to their current system. Designed a backup archiving system utilizing replicated Quantum DXi appliances. This allowed them to meet their archiving and compliance requirements without having to change their existing backup software and structure.
Developed and maintained close working relationship with san and backup vendors including EMC, Netapp, Quantum, HP and Symantec. These relationships resulted in rapid access to critical resources when needed.
