Preparation of project quality inspection plan such as method statement/inspection test plan, procedure for scope of work related and implementation as per design and specification approved by the client and in accordance to Saudi Aramco Standards, NEC, BS, IEC and other applicable standards.

Responsible for the implementation as per design and specification of electrical works and installation (especially inspection). Documentation and tendering of RFI request (ready for inspection) and pre inspection prior to RFI schedule.

Coordinate quality procedure to construction department, project management and client inspector. To include the log book answers and corrective action for client inspection and comment.

Testing and Commissioning for Electrical installation.

Conduct inspection for the all electrical installation such as Power Transformer, Bus Duct installation, Rectifier, Substation works such as MV/LV Switchgears installation and Terminations, DCS, AC/DC Panels for UPS system, Battery System and other electrical installations.

Drawing review and check field installation in conformance with the specification and applicable standards. Preparation of non conformity reports in all deviation and violations of approved standards met during the inspection.

Ensure all works done as per approved drawing, specification and other applicable standards. Implementing quality control requirements on construction sites mainly in the installation of electrical works. Attending for weekly QA/QC meeting and to discuss quality matters that arise during the installation stage.

Maintain documents in respect of quality records required and quality control checklist.

Witness for the testing such as Hi-pot, Insulation resistance test, Transformer oil filtration and Oil BDV (Break Down Voltage test or Die Electric Strength test) Polarity Index test, Ratio test and others. MV/LV Switchgear, Bus Duct/Bus Bar test also Contact Resistance test.

Cable Tray installation, Conduiting to include Duct Banks and others, Cable Pulling and field termination such as Motors and Panels also Earthing installation and Lightning Protection for the plant installation and High Rise buildings.

Installation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) such as Fire Alarm System, Paging System or Public Address, Access Control, CCTV, LAN, Structured cabling, Badge Reader, BMS and etc.

Assisting for the Vendor representative during the installation and testing of major equipment.

To report directly to the Construction Manager with regards to the electrical installation and activities in day to day basis and to discuss problems encounter in the site and action to be taken.

Coordination to the other trade such as Civil, Mechanical and Instrumentation that can affect the electrical works in order to avoid problems and corrective actions taken during the installation stage to both department.

Materials Take off or Bill of Quantities required as per drawing against the actual installation, Material Requisition and coordination to the Warehouse for the materials needed for mobilization at site also Manpower allocation for a certain job. And preparation of material submittal for approval as per the design and specification of the project.

Coordination to the Engineering Department with regards to the revision and changes as per site condition for as-built.

Attending for the weekly coordination meeting related to construction activities, schedules and preparation for the status of project and other important matters to consider.
