Duties and Responsibilities
OR (Operating Room)
Assist the anesthesiologist in induction of anesthesia.
Help the scrub nurse and the circulating nurse for skin preparation.
Isertion of folley catheter for ceasarian section patient.
LR(Labor Room)
Admits patient's records.
Monitor vital signs.
Hook patients to fetal monitoring.
Monitor patient’s progress of labor to attending physician's.
Refers patients in the delivery room.
Check stocks and supplies regularly.
Carries out doctors legal orders.
Administer medication to patients.
Prepare patient for and assist physician with procedure in labor room like IE(Internal Examination) and amniotomy.
DR(Delivery Room)
Assist attending physician during deliveries and D&C.
Perform Post Mortem Care.
Perform Post Partum Care.
Give immediate care to newborn like suctioning, cord dressing, proper identification and giving crede's prophylaxis.
Assist the patients during delivery.
