Role: Senior manager for design and development of steering system in passenger vehicle business unit. System Design:

Core member for design and development of steering system from concept phase to final phase for premium SUV-TATA Harrier.

Intially, worked on cascading of product attribute targets (PAT targets), optimizing harpdoints for vehicle architecture, K&C (kinematics & compliances),CAD packaging in CREO/CATIA & GD&T Tolerance stack-up.

Learnings from JLR D8 vehicle platform related to harpoints, design rules, standards, test methods.

Developed calculations for steering system design parameters like steering effort, TCD, Ackerman percentage, steering ratio, system sizing, boost curve and driving dynamics targets.
