JOB TITLE: Area Manager
COMPANY: Capitol Caterers (July 2009 – October 2017) My work entailed recruiting, interviewing, induction and all HR administration of contracts and wages of staff in my Units. Set up and coordinating all staff training and development. Ensure timely and organized unit management support with all admin and Client queries. I draw up and cost out each Units menu’s myself as per spec, alongside a dietician if needed. I train my Managers to a weekly set of books and offer 24/7 assistance to them should they require my help. It is very important to me to have a healthy relationship with all my staff and that internal staff issues are sorted out immediately to avoid staff rivalry.
I attend tender briefings, cost menu’s, enter monthly sales and cost into budget and do comparison with income statements to check for errors and unit profits.
