(single channel and macroscopic recordings using cell-attached, inside-out, outside-out, macropatch, whole cell and perforated whole cell configurations and tip dip method), cut open oocyte voltage clamp, voltage clamp fluorometry.
• Biochemical, cellular and molecular biology techniques: protein purification, enzymatic kinetics, gel electrophoresis of DNA, RNA and protein, primary cell isolation/culture (neurons and cardiomyocytes), cell line culture, heterologous gene expression, bacterial transformation, cell transfection, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), site-directed mutagenesis, cRNA transcription in vitro, and fluorescence microscopy.
