Design of Piping / Pipeline system as per IBR/ASME B31.1/ 31.3/ 31.4/ 31.8 Code requirements.

Ensure all works, actions and services undertaken confirm to Client objectives.

Preparation of Technical Queries(TQ's) and organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR / MDR & CTR.etc.,) identify requirements and scope of work.

Co–ordination between the Clients, Contractors and Vendors like Kick of meeting, Minutes of meeting, Participation in technical discussion with inter disciplines for design clarifications and liase with Project specific requirements.

Handling of Man hour Estimation, Cost Time and Resource study for the requirement of Project.

Preparation of Specification for Piping Deliverable as per project requirement.

Active participation in site surveys/optimisation/technical guidance to the actual project requirment.

Preparing Technical Write-up for Piping departmental Inter discipline Procedure and Check List for Improve an enhancement capability / quality of the project using previous lesson learnt methods.

Ensuring the overall schedule requirements are met with full schedule integration.

Assessing the Design changes required, To prepared Design change notes / Change advice notes.

Residue Engineering activities.

Provide the support for value additions, design validation and optimisation of the project.

Making follow up of weekly work schedule of Piping activities at Site.

Reviewing and approval of Method statements for Mechanical/Piping activities at site.

Knowledge of piping code calculation and production of Auto CAD drawing and cost estimation.

Overall responsibility for design and drawing related activities.

Co ordinating with production & QC departments on any technical issues for smooth running of the project.

Working Knowledge of Piping Engineering – Layout:

Preparation of Specification for Piping design basis and Technical work instructions or job notes for the project as per client requirement.

Preparation of Layout Drawing Index, Equipment and Piping Layout studies, Plant Layout and elevation drawings. (i.e,Overall plot plan, equipment layout and General arrangement drawings etc.,)

Design guidance and reviewing of Drawings & Documents – Tie-in Schedule, Pipe rack, Piping Isometrics, Pipe supports, Maintenance and Operation requirement like Spacing requirement, Material Handling study, requirement of all facilities and Future requirements.

Technical Write-up for 3D Model Review Procedure.

Review of 3D Model/ Layouts from Process requirements, operation & Maintenance Requirements, HAZOP/Safety requirements.

Conducting 3D model review meetings, reviewing of clash reports and provide resolution report.

Preparing Close out Reports for

i)Model Review at 30%, 60%, 90% stages.

ii)Equipment after construction stage.

Review of Overall Piping layout study and Issue the Final Piping Layouts & Support Design, 3D Model and other related documents as per client requirement.

Preparing specifications for Piping Bulks, Fittings, Valves, Supports and Special Items (including High Pressure Piping upto 10000#).
