CNC Machine Operator:

Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling,

grinding and milling.

Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for

production.

Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the

company.

Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary

changes to produce improved results.

Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.

Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.

Provide timelines to clients.

Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.

Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations.

Conduct regular CNC machine assessments.

CNC Set-Up Technician:

Process Development and improvements

Troubleshoot and repair all CNC machines with mild to moderate issues

Lead in part changeovers for CNC machines

Remove and install heat treat coils

Make pattern adjustments per Met Lab results and proper documentation of

actions

Perform all quality checks from parts generated by CNC machines

Edit programs as needed and inform supervisor of changes

Check the alignment of a turret and realign, if necessary

Check and set loader points on all CNC machines

Change out grinding wheel

Assist in the training and development of new operators

Fill in for supervisor when necessary

Cover breaks and lunches as needed

Quality Maintenance Inspector:

Perform root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement corrective actions

Prepare written maintenance instructions, records, and procedures

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical equipment

Perform preventive maintenance tasks

Perform tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Coordinator

Hand-stack product on occasion when items are off

balance or in the wrong location.

Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming

orders.
