Ductility Improvement of GFRP Reinforced Concrete Beams January2018 - Present

Use of structural synthetic bers is proposed for improving the ductile behavior of RC beams with Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) as internal reinforcement.

Eight RC beams were cast and tested as part of this study to understand the e ect of structural macro-synthetic bers on the exural behavior.

Crack width was measured in constant moment zone with the help of Digital Image Correlation (DIC). EXPERIENCE
