to be addressed. Worked with salesmen to address technical questions or explain the pricing of

a bid or bill. Helped chemical pricing and quality control of products from our suppliers. Maintained

Frac Focus Chemical Database for Cudd, forms and uploads for Post Frac Reports and Disclosures

to Frac Focus National Data Base for our customers.

Region Engineer/Technical Sales, Cudd Energy Services November2006-May 2011

chemicals, products, and pricing for the Permian Basin Region of Cudd. Going on jobs to maintain

Odessa, TX – Responsible for designing, bidding and selling stimulation jobs. Procurement of chemicals,

sand, and trucking of all products to yard and to location. Maintaining inventory controls at yard and

usage in the field for variances and quality. Maintaining suppliers along with cost and quality controls.

Training new engineers, fluid techs, treaters, and other key personnel. Also responsible for making sure

personnel were trained to be able to replace the current personnel when and if it became

necessary including my replacement before moving up or changing positions. I also set up the

equipment, personnel, chemicals, and the logistics for each frac job.

Regional Cement Bulk Plant QC Engineer, BJ Services March 1985 – July 1986

Midland, TX – Responsible for verification or correct cement slurry blends for critical jobs, training bulk

plant operators in proper operating and blending procedures for cement plants, and troubleshooting

blending problems to improve quality and prevent future problems. Covered region lab when senior lab

analyst for given time off.

Laboratory Technician, Amerada Hess Corporation November 1984 – March 1985

Seminole, TX – Quality Control Lab – Identified components in liquid, gas, and water samples for

production personnel to use in operating their CO2 Recovery Plant. I was also the H2S specialist going

into the critical positions in the plant to sample the concentration of H2S to make sure it was at safe

levels for plant operators to be in those areas.

Odessa, TX – Quality Control Lab – Identified components at various stages of production along with

components of the final products for sales information and for production personnel in determining and

Odessa, TX – Responsible for accurate and timely analysis of products for Oil and Gas Companies and

various others like Center Plains Liquid Fertilizer Plant. These results were used to meet government

regulations on reporting along with determining selling prices, and settling disputes between companies.

Analysis were also used to determine possible problems and offer corrective solutions to address any

problems. I also worked with owner to develop a faster 4 hour total N2 content procedure to replace

the accepted 72 hour procedure fertilizer N2 content. It was verified successfully by independent

government approved labs such as Popes. Continued to work around El Paso Products shifts to help keep

his clients happy and to train a replacement.

Chemist/Microbiologist/Salesman, Continental Products March 1977-Nov 1977

Odessa, TX – Acted as a sales representative for downhole and plant treating chemicals, ran analysis of

bacteria, scales, water, and corrosion samples to determine type and concentrations of chemicals

needed to correct or prevent problems within plants and downhole on oil and gas wells. I worked with

the head chemist on special research projects.
