Taking care of all Purchase activity in Plating Unit.
Responsible for Procurement of all Direct and Indirect Materials (Chemicals, Polymers, BOP’s and Plant Maintenance Items.
Responsible for Supplier Development.
Responsible for Audits Activities (IATF).
Doing Strategic Sourcing in RM and BOI
Doing Technical and Commercial Comparison in RM & Start Trial process, Coordinate with NPD. Production Activity:
Responsible for the Process of decorative Quad Nickel- Chrome plating on ABS Plastic Parts.
Maintain the Plating bath Parameter as per Specification by using chemical analysis method.
Monitoring daily manpower utilization, optimum utilization of facilities, Maintenance of Production record in process areas and taking related corrective measures.
Continuously monitoring the output from process & review rejections. Periodically organize discussions with workers to enlist suggestions in improving the process and quality.
Planning of Maintenance activities for Baths, Filters, Rinses and Chemicals.
Responsible for Bath Replenishment.
Trouble shooting for the on-going Chemical process.
Doing Hull Cell Analysis for Plating Bath periodically.
Responsible for Inward Chemical – Test Reports to be matched to Lab Report.
Maintaining 5s in the shop floor.
Preparing & Monitoring the Documentation Checklist for smooth running of production.
Responsible for Pilot Plant activities.
Testing and Evaluate the New Product Development Plated Parts.
Conducting Process audit as per Schedule.
Preparing Monthly MIS for plating shop.
Training the Manpower on new techniques/ process to improve the production and reduce the rejections.
Giving instructions about the usage of Chemicals & their equipment’s & PPE'S.
Responsible for Plated Parts validation as per Schedule.
Responsible for calibration of Testing Machines / Equipment’s.
Responsible for Production related Procurement activities from end to end.
Implementing Kaizen Activities in Shop floor.
