(Reporting to Executive Director of Safety Management Services) Current Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for review corporate policies and procedures

Managing the fire safety team assigned to and assists the Engineering and Facilty Administration.

Performing primary contact for Risk Mitigation program across the organizational level with responsibility to identify non-compliance of international (NFPA) and local (QCDD) requirements and mitigation of the same through well-structured process involving creation and review of scope of work, co-ordination with supply chain for technical evaluation of contractor’s bids.

Outlining the project time cycle and ensuring the requisite co-ordination with concern department and facility management and ensuring timely and qualitative execution of project by contractor without any safety, budgeting and management concerns.

Responsible for co-ordination, guidance and troubleshooting of safety management concerns of multiple facilities as corporate representative.

Ensure that all policy, procedure and programs of department are up to date and compliance of the same at across organization through active involvement in management committee at facility (FMS) and corporate level.

Actively involved for all Incident investigation process and ensuring recommendation compliance across the organization.

Ensuring compliance of NFPA, QCDD and JCI through reviewing and auditing of operational aspects and practices for multiple facilities.

Assists in preparing performance indicators for evaluation of the Fire and Safety Program and in reporting performance indicators of all elements to the Facility Management and Page 2 of4

Safety (FMS)Committee; Prepares findings, recommendations, actions taken, and disseminates results of performance improvement (PI) activities

Participate in the hospital disaster and safety committees and the preparation and periodic review of emergency preparedness and evacuation plans.

Overseeing fire evacuation drills as required by life safety code across the organisation.

Basic Functions & Duties:

Conduct Safety Surveys. Investigating and correcting occupational injuries, accidents, fire incidents and unsafe conditions/acts. Conducts fire drills and participate employee’s fire & safety training. Perform firefighting and fire accident reporting duties. Safety equipment inspection and perform office correspondence related duties.

Responds to all emergency calls and takes necessary action, including report preparation in accordance with Section’s Internal Policies and Procedures.

Carries out all related Fire Alarm Responses and Fire Fighting Requirements using proper equipment.

Demonstrates the knowledge of Basic Safety Principles and how they apply to Fire Protection of our Organization.

Conducts facility safety surveys of all Hazards that exist and lists recommendations for correction.

Investigating and correcting occupational injuries. Analyzes accidents and/or fire incidents to determine cause(s) and recommend the effect positive actions to correct the situation

Attend all Unsafe Conditions /Acts & Safety Hazards and make proper recommendations.

Organizes and conduct Fire Drills and assists in employees Fire & Safety Training.

Inspect and maintains firefighting equipment. Participates in inspection of fire detection/suppression systems and safety equipment and reports on their performance.

Prepare Safety Weekly, Monthly & Annual Reports.

Performs standby duties to ensure compliance with Safety Policies and Practices.

Coordinates and participates in fire prevention, surveys, development of emergency planning, and safe work procedures.

Conducts fire & life safety inspections based on the life safety codes and standards.

Schedules, conduct and participate in life drills and disaster plan procedures and requirements.

Performs all other related duties as required.
