: Microsoft word, MS Office.
: AUTO CAD, CATIA, ANSYS, MATLAB.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
PROJECT: Fluid Flow Analysis of Aerospike Nozzle.
Team Size : 3
Position : Team leader.
Software : Catia, Ansys
Description: An aerospike nozzle is the truncated version of an ideal spike and the nozzle resembles a spike hence called as aerospike nozzle. Due to its ability to adjust the environment by altering the outerjet boundary, the nozzle delivers better performance compared to present day bell nozzle and the very high ratio nozzle can also operate efficiently and safely at sea level. It is designed for 20 bar pressure ratio. To improve the performance of aerospike nozzle for various conditions, initially a model is created then optimisation is carried out which is designed by software CATIA and the flow behaviour is analyzed by CFD software called ANSYS.
PROJECT: Fluid Flow Analysis Around Supersonic Intake.
Description: The supersonic intake is used for the ramjet engine, which operate at supersonic domain. Accordingly, CFD simulations will be carried out to study the aerodynamic flow characteristics of an air-intake. The analyses will involve supersonic external and internal flow-field around the walls of the intake placed on the flat plat. The methodology to evolve the intake configuration will be carried out by study the shock-shock interaction, boundary layer-shock interaction phenomenon. The effect of wall thickness and the gap between walls will be study. The geometrical shape of the upper wall of intake will be study by taking in account the shock occurs due to the ramp angle. The three-ramp intake will be study using the shock meeting at one particular point.
