Secured 1st prize project expo in the title of“AUTOMATIC SMART FIRE FIGHTING

ROBOT” in Nadar Sarawathi College of Engineering and Technology

Participating with the project of “ DEVELOPMENT SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER

GLOVES FOR SPEAKING DISABILITY PEOPLES” at Mangayarkarasi Engineering College

at Madurai

PROJECT

1. FIRE FIGHTING ROBOT

If fireaccident in any hazardous area,the fire fighters are went to that place to avoid

spreading of fire is not safe

To protect the fire mans from fire is major role of this project and this robots are designed

to find a fire and rages out of control.

So we can design this robot to save fire fighters from fire accidents and it is controlled by

man with a handhold devices.

2. SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER GLOVES FOR SPEAKING DISABILITY

PEOPLE

This project is useful for people who is not able to speak.

It is already Invented, But we can invented this with low cost and good efficiency.

That type of peoples are trying to say something by their expressions and sign languages,

The easy and regular words are easily understandable by all human beings. but the

Difficult words are only understand by closer one .so we design this gloves to avoid that

problems.(current sensing elements,SD card, Bluetooth module and speakers and

Arduino controller are used.)

Totally 13 current sensing Elements fit to the one hand of gloves. Both thumb fingers

elements are act as a ground. Another 12 elements are used for passing a commands, And

totally 64 commands are saved in a single hands of gloves.

Bluetooth module is connected with the mobile application and controller. Only reason

for choosing the mobile is that the peoples cannot forget this device before going

anywhere else.

If Touch any two elements, The audio will be sounded and displayed. Also we adding

the facilities of control the speaking speed and it can be stored.
