● I engaged in project planning, coordination, ethics and client communication throughout my course.

● As a UX design consultant I assisted my client, Easelly, to identify their place in the world of distance learning.

● Using a foundation of user research, we designed a new interface that was more intuitive for younger students and would limit bandwidth/connectivity issues in the remote classroom. Graphic Designer -Freelance

● Balanced client goals with my own graphic design consultation, helping clients to solidify their vision by facilitating a hands-on approach to feedback and ideation.

EDUCATION

General Assembly - User Experience Design Immersive August 2020 - November 2020

● My fully remote experience throughout the 12-week course prepared me to be an effective UX researcher, designer, and presenter. Skills learned: wireframing, prototyping, UX research, UX writing, project management, collaboration, basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript coding language. Programs learned: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure.

● Not only did I learn hard skills, I learned soft skills that will help me become an outstanding teammate and resource for any organization. I know how to build a narrative and facilitate an empathic approach, not just deliver wireframes. Guilford College -B.A. in Visual Arts

August 2013 - August 2017

● Classically trained in scale drawing, portraiture, drafting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics and graphic design.

● I learned how to research, analyze and present material that was often abstract and complex. My writing, public speaking and presentation skills were sharpened and used often throughout my undergraduate career.

● In my senior year, I completed a year-long thesis program that culminated in a collaborative art show, where I displayed original work and sold most of the collection during the event.
