Working as Manager (DRI Operations of 2 X 350 TPD kilns with direct cooled coolers) in M/s Steel Exchange India Limited Formerly M/s Goldstar Steel & Alloys Ltd., Vizianagaram, Andhrapradesh since 12.11.2011. The Plant have two kilns with 350 TPD with 37 tph WHRBS, CFBC with 210 tph, 2X30 MW Turbines, 1000 TPD of SMS with 25 ton Induction furnaces & TMT Bar mill with 800 TPD…etc

Independent responsibility of DRI Process in all aspects like Process parameters, Production, Raw material plan, Cost controlling, Trouble shooting, Modifications, Manpower, Housekeeping, Documentation… etc Commissioning activities like equipment trail runs, several types of Refractory castable applications, Heat up cycle & cooling cycle, shutdown job plans & Execution, Equipment tracking with complete documentation while in Projects…etc

Previous Experience:

1.Worked as Junior Manager (Sponge Iron Division – Operations of 500 tpd kilns) in M/s Bhushan Steel Ltd (An Integrated Steel Plant Division), Angul, Orissa from April 2007 to Oct 2011.

2.Worked as Shift Engineer (Sponge Iron Operations) in M/s Nixon Steel & Power Ltd (1X350 TPD), Rourkela, Orissa from May 2005 to March 2007.

3.Worked as Shift In-charge (Process) in M/s NeepazMetalics Ltd. under M/s Popuri consultancy, (4x100 TPD kilns), Rourkela, Orissa from June 2002 to May 2005.

4.Worked as Asst Incharge (QC Dept) in M/s Sarita Steel & Industries Ltd (Hot Rolling mill), Visakhapatnam from March 2000 to May 2002. Manufacturers of Structural steels sections like Beams: 150 – 600, Channels: 200 – 400, Rounds: 80 – 210mm & Slabs

5.Worked as DET (melting &casting ) from September 1998 to March 2000 in M/s Hast Alloy India Ltd., Visakhapatnam. A Foundry unit to the manufacturing of different types of castings with Grades: HK, HH, Ni Hard & carbon steel like IS: 1030…etc to the supply of Cement plants, Sponge iron plants & Steel Plants…etc
