Regional Director of Operations February 2015 – March 2018

Led food service and facility maintenance operations and supervised multiple units in multiple states with a manage volume of 25M. Planned objectives for assigned area and ensured management was in compliance with corporate, regional and financial goals. Held direct and indirect management of over 50 management professionals, with oversight of more than 500 hourly team members. Left position to become full time Project Lead for Bench initiative in March of 2018.

Director of Operations January 2014 – February 2015

Oversaw daily operational execution, labor and cost of goods management, community engagement and marketing for multi-faceted, multi-site account that yields approximately 12M in annual revenue (2.5M in catering). Managed approximately 145 Union and 15 non-Union associates. Involved in costing and bidding new contracts including but not limited to menu costing and labor analysis.

Accomplishments:

Reduced labor by 19.2% in Fall of 2014 without negatively impacting service standards

General Manager August 2012 – January 2014

Responsible for the food service programs for 13 units and approximately 25,000 total meals per day. Ensured program follows policies and procedures to meet federal and state requirements. Provided students with appetizing, nutritional meals in sanitary, pleasant environments and promoted positive learning. Recruited and trained new over 80 new staff members including hourly and salaried associates. Involved in costing and bidding new contracts including menu costing, labor analysis and Performa reviews.

Oversaw food service programs for 26 Chicago Public Schools. Led multiple units through federal and state audits with a 100% success rate. Implemented new culinary programs in conjunction with the Chartwells marketing and culinary team. Acted as a liaison between Chartwells the school administration, staff, students and the community.
