SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Designed: New research assistants at a private educational institution were negatively impacting the company brand, jeopardizing a $3.5 million grant. Designed a Coaches Learning Pathway to train research assistants and coaches on cultural competency and brand specific public relations. RESULT: Company received invitations to partner with seven institutions and retained the grant. Administered: Recognized an opportunity to improve district leadership skills, as dysfunctional leadership of administrators was resulting in poorly run schools. Recommended, designed and administered a leadership skills development plan. RESULT: Survey of 100 staff members reported greater collaboration, shared leadership and growth minded leadership practice demonstrated by 35 out of 42 administrators.
Evaluated: There was an opportunity to increase the capacity and collaboration of 11 offices recently brought under new division. Senior leadership was not able to determine if offices were properly funded based on a lack of impact data. Evaluated each office’s strategic planning and reporting process in order to create a streamlined division-wide version. RESULT: Senior leaders were able to evaluate programming of 11 offices and thereby justify increasing salaries for 10 positions with an increase of
$1.5 million in funding for high impact programs.
Planned: Three stakeholder groups were in conflict regarding their roles and function in raising
$500,000 in scholarship funds for students in need. Without funds, there was a 10% decrease in the retention rate of a specific student demographic. Planned a 3-day retreat to clarify purpose, create goals and establish measurable outcomes for each stakeholder group. RESULT: Stakeholders collaborated with a unified vision and exceeded original fundraising goal of $750,000. Facilitated: Company needed new board members with skillsets to raise funds and provide effective leadership. Facilitated a seminar on Effective Board Structure and Strategic Planning. RESULT: Conducted financial forensics of company, recruited four new board members and secured a 3-year
$60,000 per month lease agreement.
