Maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and testing of electronic components and equipment, to return unserviceable equipment to serviceable status.

Maintenance and repairs, of resistivity tools e.g LWD (periscope, microscope, and geosphere: Carry out the following Incoming system test, e.g LTB Communications on both up hole and down hole, ROP comms, bench test, gamma ray plateau calibration.

Outgoing system test; e.g foil test, gamma ray blanket calibration, pressure test, air calibration, filling out the work order express a software maintenance tool.

Performing vacuum and Nitrogen purge, I make sure the tool is oil and moisture free and there is no leakage on the o-rings or gaskets.

Maintenance and repairs of MWD tools e.g Telescope, Extreme, DTCM, DAGR, HDS1, perform bench test, roll test spin-up test, gamma ray blanket calibration etc

Maintenance and repairs and troubleshooting of Real Time tool, e.g Xhop probes, HDS1 (Hhop) and communication link between power drive and slimpulse (CLPS-AC).

Replacement and soldering of electronic components, e.g power supply, CPU board, Memory, Azimuthal, ROP board, transmitter and receiver packets, Gamma ray board.

Closing of work orders using an electronic maintenance tool called work order express and Qtrac. Setting up priority jobs daily and preparing shipping manifest, TCO for jobs that are RITE Ready for Field (RFF).

Assembly and disassembly of electronic cables, wiring harnesses, circuit cards, prototype, test fixtures and test beds.

Installation of various starting method of electrical motors. i.e Star-Delta starter, direct-online starter forward and reverse, both single phase and three phases.
