I have experiences in designing Roadways and Bridges and structural designs. I have been working for the Louisiana DOTD for more than 26 years. My experiences include the designs of parish roads, state highways and bridges. I am serving as a chair for AASHTO’s NTPEP Epoxy testing program. I am the Chair of Louisiana New Product Evaluation Program. As practicing Engineer, I have an in-depth understanding of technical matters concerning design and construction deficiencies to include the fields of architecture and engineering. In the diverse fields in which I have experience, I am able to combine a solid theoretical background with practical hands-on experience.

I have had 10 years of experience in facilities management as the Assistant Materials Engineer Administrator. In that position I was responsible for maintenance and new construction including over 50,000 square feet of building area and surrounding grounds and support facilities. I supervised construction of projects totaling over 15 million dollars. Among other duties, I represented the State of Louisiana in litigation including the following:

1. Expert testimony and deposition relative to construction deficiencies and failures.

2. Expert testimony and deposition in defense of the DOTD regarding slips and falls and other complaints regarding Materials Lab facilities.

I have worked as expert witness for the Law Office of Morris Bart and Garry L. Lewis.

Professional memberships have included the Louisiana Engineer Society, ASTM, and International Building Code.
