Parsley Energy – HSE Superintendent

Drilling

Supervise 18 HSE Consultants and oversee 23 drilling rigs. Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.

Provide safety and health mentorship to improve the safety culture. Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.

Mange all injuries that are sustained on company site. Manage, set up, and conduct any incident reporting and Investigations that is to be performed and complete the process for close out of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned to the HSE Manager for promulgation to the management. Ensure company policies and procedures are known and followed. Communicate with all staff and employees as well as the organizations that enforce OSHA regulations.

Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with Company policies and procedures. Manage Safety Statistic reporting, Track and provide regular HSE performance reporting to the HSE Manager and HSE Director.

Fairway Energy - HSEC Specialist

Drilling, Workover, Pipeline and Construction

Assisted Fairway Energy, Drilling and Construction personnel with achieving a safer work environment and reaching the goal of one million safe man hours. Represent Fairway Energy HSE department for drilling, work-over, pipeline and construction phases of the Fairway Energy Crude Oil Storage Facility, Pierce Junction Project. Supervise and oversee numerous contractors and sub-contractors conducting simultaneous operations at several locations and through different phases of the project. Coordinate between Operations Department, HSE contractors, and facility personnel to ensure all applicable laws, codes, regulations, and guidelines are followed. Conduct and lead Tap Root investigations, develop and supervise the implementation of corrective actions in response to any incidents, investigations, inspections and audits. Maintain and audit all HSE oriented paperwork such as permit to work, JSA’s, Behavior Based Safety Observations. Ensure all equipment meet requirements per Fairway’s and OSHA policies and regulations.

BHP Billiton – HSEC Specialist

Drilling, Completions, Workover and Interventions

The HSEC Specialist with BHP Billiton provides coaching and guidance to Contractors and service providers regarding:

Other duties include monitoring daily operations; be present for and verify that all high risk activities are planned, risk assessed properly and performed safely and within compliance. Provide HSE support for general issues and report on HSE performance and best practices. Support and coach/mentor the site management team in appropriate HSE leadership and conduct any HSE training required for personnel. Encourage crew and management participation with PTW audits, Hazard Hunts, JSA audits and HSE procedural audits. Conduct detail Site Visit Reports and Hazard Hunts for the findings to distribute to all the appropriate personnel and help personnel close out any items on the Action Tracker.
