National Basketball Association- Remote

Global Content Media Distribution- Assignment Desk Intern. June 2020- August 2020

One of 50 selected interns from an application pool of 4,000 for the National Basketball Association Summer internship. Formal program cancelled due to COVID-19. Adapted virtual programming was exclusive to the intern class and featured networking sessions with NBA executives, mentoring programs, professional development workshops an exploration into various career opportunities within the league and sports business.

Sat in on production calls and run down of content schedules in preparation for the NBA bubble. Crimson Tide Productions- Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Production Assistant for the family channel of the SEC Network, 2017 to 2020

Tagging:

o Identify and tag usable clips for Alabama Football, to make sure they can be used in highlight reels that are shown on TV and used on socials.

o In charge of working with the replay operators to make sure KiPros are recorded and exported each quarter.

Stage Manager:

o Liaison between talent and producer, so the talent can have promo cards ready. o In charge of making sure that talent is comfortable and properly lighted by changing the camera ISO. Replay Operator:

o Sell replay angles, reaction shots and packages to the director. o Clip off, store and rename footage with Everetz DreamCatcher and CatDV system. o Pre-produce show elements for TideTV Alabama Athletic departments weekly show. o Record and export the melt to the network servers using KiPros.

SEC Network Assistant Director

o Liaison between Verizon and producer to make sure commercial breaks are one on time. o Responsible for counting the control room in and out of commercial breaks. o In charge of timing the lengths of promos.

o In charge of picking up patterns during a game and pitching it to the director.

SEC Network Time Out Coordinator

o Act as liaison between referees and director so they can know when commercial breaks are happening and when to stop game play. o In charge of communicating with referees and producer, when a play is in review so the director is aware of what is happening.

Teleprompter

o In charge of loading in the scripts and checking for errors for TideTV. o In charge of rolling the teleprompter and making sure that the pace matches the talent during the show.

Game Graphics and Blackstorm operator

o In charge of making sure that graphics, promos and various videos get shown on the big screen in venue.

Closed Captioning

o One of three students who is in charge of transcribing The Nate Oats show. o Use Telestream and Mac Caption to transcribe the show and correct the computer-aided transcriptions. o In charge of making sure that after transcribing the video, it gets sent to rolltide.com correctly.
