Maintenance Technician

Troubleshoot and repair CNC machining centers using proper documentation and advanced troubleshooting techniques to ensure production uptime and machine reliability. Rebuilt high speed spindles and dresser components to micron level tolerances. Worked on 4 to 8 axis Fanuc robots which are part of multi-station assembly lines. Machined and fabricated parts for production equipment using mills, lathes and other various shop equipment. Rebuilt cylinders, grease pumps and other units supporting assembly lines. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plastics extrusion machines. PM lines on a semiannual and annual basis to restore to a better than new state. Measure and calibrate video jet printers to ensure proper alignment. Responsible for the daily checks for fluid levels in the machines. Repaired and completed preventative maintenance on silo purge systems. Make improvements to downline equipment (I.E. Auto packers, Cut to length, and pattern embossing machines) to improve safety and workflow. Involvement on projects to improve overall state of the daily operations with the plant water system. LOTO and safety training completed and passed. Installed and routed galvanized, copper piping and electrical conduit. Performed extensive preventative maintenance and predictive preventative maintenance on laundering facility machines. Monitored and repaired chemical induction system with safety being the first priority. Repaired and maintained steam generation equipment to ensure peak performance. Monitored hot oil boilers and scheduled subcontractors to do preventative maintenance on systems.
