Aerospace Engineering 2020 Capstone Winner 01/2020 to 04/2020 Ryerson University – Toronto, Ontario

• A vibrant member in a team of twelve (12) responsible for creating a business jet for use within the corporate market. The intent was to provide the customer with a safer, quieter aircraft with a fundamental focus on simplicity, low operating cost, and delivering good value to the customer;

• Chosen to oversee the performance aspects of the aircraft, I developed a MATLAB code to calculate all flight parameters based on the objective and requirements.

• Researched and analyzed various engines, being used in the aerospace industries, and contacted engine manufacturing companies (i.e. Honeywell, GE, etc.) about design and performance specifications.

• Effectively managed the project timeline by ensuring all six (6) subgroups followed an outlined schedule. Buffer time were created to allow our performance team to address group concern if the overall performance did not meet the objectives.

• Actively participated in weekly status meetings and provided constructive feedback and solutions to teams requiring additional support to meet requirements.

• As a team, presented the final configuration in a formal Technical Design Specification Review in front of Ryerson Aerospace professors and members from various aerospace companies.

• A member of a team of four (4), that forecasted a robotic riveting cell for a section of an aircraft leading edge using compound equations and region growth rate data.

• Gained knowledge and skills in evaluating and selecting appropriate equipment and models for measuring the variables affecting manufacturing management.

• Planned and created a layout design of a robotic riveting cell for the company which included assembly process, operations process charts, assembly process development, flow process chart, layout design of robotic cell and alternative cell designs to show improvement.

• Responsible for the review and verification of the Technical Services theatre information database;

• Participated in on-site training and team workshops to develop and enhance knowledge of IMAX digital projection and audio equipment; Fostered knowledge of IMAX Parts Catalogue.
