ACCOMPLISHMENTS
As champion of the 5S project leadership team successfully completed the key concept of 5S. A 10% efficiency improvement was achieved as a result of the implementation of 5S.
Participated in the implementation of Kanban scheduling system to help the materials department to reorganize and provide a uniform service to the production floor. An additional 15% savings were realized through the accomplishment of this project, while improving overall services, performance and availability.
Appointed as champion to help the manufacturing department in the implementation of the Kaizen solution for specific improvements to the shop floor. As a result of upgrading machines, productivity was improved by 20%. An additional saving of $10,000.00 per week was realized due to reduction in overtime and shipping expenses.
