Title:

Scheduling of process layout by using meta-heuristic method.

Description:

These machines are construct a certain process layout structure. The

process layout is fully responsible to work flow in the shop floor. The objectives

of the minimization of transportation cost from one department to other is

calculated by multiplying together the flow distance for each facility pair. The

optimized layout is obtained by PSO algorithm.

Mini Project details:

Title:

Design and fabrication project of belt conveyors by using Geneva

mechanism.

Team members:

Three members.

Description:

In a manufacturing industry in which the products are assembled

from the moving belt conveyors system. Geneva mechanism is used in this project

to reduce the manufacturing time based on moving belt conveyors system. It

increases the production efficiency of the industries when compare to the previous

assembly process.

Inplant training:

Undergoes Inplant training at Integral Coach Factory in Chennai

for seven working days in the area of shell and furnishing divisions.

Software exposure:

Well expertise in Auto Cad version 2017 and PRO-E (version 5.0)

in solid modeling in version 5.0.

Industrial visit:

Visiting tea factory at ooty.

Automobile Engineering and Manufacturing.
