Temporary Associate Designer for Chaps RTW Dresses

Facilitate sketches for women’s dresses for Chaps and partly Lauren.

Design concepts, illustrations/hand sketches, and create designs based on original ideas for dresses.

Work closely with Senior Designer to help manage other areas of line development such as market research, sourcing, etc.

Create embellishment layouts.

Interpret the seasonal mood and concept working with the Senior Designer.

Work closely with the Senior Designer on all presentations, developing ideas for four seasons.

Review samples and provide fit comments to tech teams and oversea communication.

Attend all fittings (comparison fitting, proto and production fitting) to follow Sr. Designer with design changes.

Work directly with Manager, Technical design, Merchandising, Product Developer and Sourcing on daily basis.
