JOB DESCRIPTION :

Inspect Hazardous areas, where classified as Zones, class/division, groups/subgroups and its requirements of equipment protection levels by ATEX category and IEC EPL. Inspection of protection methods for electrical equipment’s and intensically safe installations as entity concept, according to area classification and its integrity after installation, at different stages like initial, commissioning and periodic maintenance.

Following Activities pertaining to FPSO E&I –Top Side Module construction consisting of Cabling & tray work, Panel installation, lighting system, F&G, process instrumentation, process tubing, PAGA, Heat Tracing.

Follow up of deliverables in time and coordinating between client engineering and in-house engineering team.

Monitoring the progress in line with the construction schedule and corrective action against any deviation.

MTO generation and initiating procurement action by raising Purchase request on time.

Mediating with vendors, client and engineering regarding material procurement issues.

Raising site queries & resolutions.

Interaction with clients for resolution of construction issues & site approvals.

Sub-contractor management and resolving site issues. Day to day micro planning and monitoring of the progress and corrective actions whenever necessary.

Ensuring safe work procedures and (PTW) Permit to work system.

Presenting in VSCC meeting and ensuring proper site intra- discipline co-ordination.

Preparting as-built and complete work done status.

Ensuring project Quality standards.

QA/QC documentation and review Contractor construction electrical procedures.

Supervise and Monitor Installation of Cable, Cable tray, Lighting, Distribution control panel, all electrical equipment and Grounding system, etc.

Perform routine inspection and document result in accordance with approved CPI procedures.

Monitor activities of supervision contractor and construction Contractors.

Witness and verify Continuity, Merger, HI-POT and Component testing for Medium Voltage & Low Voltage equipment.

Monitor Quality control on construction progress activities.

Responsible from equipment installation and continue energizing of electrical equipment to pre- commissioning and commissioning.

Issued punch listing for outstanding works.

Manage the electrical Contractors daily construction activities, schedule and progress.

QA/QC documentation and specification and verify, contractor procedures.

Generate Field Change Request (FCR), Field Purchase Request (FPR) and Request for Information (RFI). Inspect and approve Electrical Installation on site.

Inspection of Connection and Installation switch gear and MCC panel.

Expedite materials for construction and issue field instruction to contractor.

Supervise and Inspect Subcontractor construction activities.

Witness Pre commissioning and commissioning testing.

Prepare ITR (Inspection Test Report) check sheets and completion status.

Review all test packages; prepare QA/QC documentation for Turn over to client.

Performed joint inspection with the contractor in shop calibration, field installation loop & functional test, continuity & megger, high and low voltage test, lighting illumination and pump motor load run

Knowledge on hands on installation such as: LV/MV/HV/termination and cable joint, conduit, Cable tray fitting

Recommend upgrading for corrective measure if necessary, Functional Test PA/GA, and Auto telephone system including PPU. Beacon sounder and Status Lights.

Test LV & HV Power Cables through Megger Test.

Switch boards and Generator synchronize and controls

Tank pressure and Tank Temperature System
