I am looking to bring my well-honed accounting, budgeting, report writing, and hands-on skills to be a successful contributor and manager. As a previous Controller for service-based firms, I lead the accounting teams and was part of the Management Team. I was key contact for banking, annual tax return prep, annual ESOP valuation, creation of $35M corporate budget, cash management and was an ESOP/401k Trustee.

Pertinent experience and skills for the posted position include:

• With a B.S. in Accounting from Central Washington University and over 10 years of working experience in construction management and design engineering firms, I have the hard skills required to succeed as your Controller.

• Business aptitude. I have secured a $2M working line of credit. Disbursed annual shareholder dividends. Created a $35M budget for seven offices with three business lines. Monthly analysis of financials with relevant KPIs and account reconciliations. Convincing WSDOT that our current Comp Time policy is FAR allowable and inclusive to the overhead rate. Found $200k IRS lien that the due diligence team did not find just prior to closing acquisition.

• I bring a variety of personal skills that will ensure success in this role: I am a good listener with a solid work ethic and an insistent desire to excel. I thoroughly enjoy teaching staff in addition to learning from them.

• Strong computer skills. I am experienced in both Dynamics SL & GP. Additionally, create SSRS reports, update Crystal reports, create SQL connection queries and advanced Excel skills; vlookup, slicers and pivot tables. Work with project managers to create project costing reports to better understand performance.
