Senior Systems Manager (2017-2020)

Reported to the CTO and managed a global support team of nine Analysts, Engineers, and Architects responsible for project planning and delivery and supporting enterprise-wide IT Operations. Managed a $4M annual budget.

Generated savings of $1.2M by cutting cost on cloud storage services over three years.

Consolidated file sharing storage, resulting in savings of $400K.

Successfully managed the consolidation of three teams with separate service portfolios into one, without affecting the level of service and generated savings of approximately $500K annually.

Global management of 45K Windows endpoints for hotels, regional offices, and shared service centers, including, support break/fix engagements.

Security & Storage Manager (2014-2017)

Reported to the End user Service Director. Owned and managed company-wide support of antivirus, web security, and cloud storage services. Led a staff of three Analysts. Managed third party relationships with hosting facilities, SaaS, hardware, and software vendors.

Partnered with Legal to lead a data migration project from regular Windows OS to cloud storage (AWS). The process included coordination and communication with stakeholders, resulting in improved user access control and alignment with the business organization, and data availability.

Developed a thorough understanding of information security principles, practices, standards, layered defense technology, and knowledge of new information security technologies through regular work engagements with Cybersecurity and Internal Audit.

Collectively designed manageable support models as part of the services within the team’s portfolio available to the hotels (i.e., documentation, knowledge sharing sessions to empower all support teams to improve service).

Routinely developed SOPs for common processes to facilitate delegation to other support groups.

Network Services Manager (2008-2014)

Owned and managed corporate Windows Servers, SAN storage, AV protection, and server backup infrastructure. Coordinated maintenance service contracts, renewals for IT equipment, and data center cooling and battery backup systems.

Pioneered the migration from tape backup to cloud backup for all hotels worldwide.

Managed migration of standalone AV to SaaS model for all international Hyatt locations with an end-goal of centralizing all hotels into a consolidated AV solution.

Planned and executed maintenance preparedness to perform successful SAN firmware upgrades.

Implemented alerting systems to monitor both IT equipment and data center systems.

Worked with Finance to establish bill back model for IT charges for multi-Hyatt tenants at corporate building.
