Title : (M.Tech) Effect on strength of concrete using STP treated water

● The objective of this study is finding the feasibility using STP treated water as an alternative to fresh water for mixing concrete,curing and other building works. The quality of STP water showed that the water was within the tolerable limits mentioned in the IS:456.

● As per the tests taken in our laboratory using STP water the slump value is within 80-150mm.The compressive strength of concrete cubes which are casted and cured (28 days) using STP water had almost same same strength (99.86%) compared to cubes casted using normal water.
