Designation: Technical Associate –In Product Quality Nature of Industry : Hydraulics Cylinder manufacturing – Quenching & Tempering,Induction Hardening, Centre Less Grinding, Hard Chrome Plating, Turning, Friction Welding,Milling & Boring. Company Profile : Wipro Infrastructure Engineering is considered to be one of the world's largest independent manufacturers of hydraulic cylinders. Wipro Infrastructure Engineering is the hydraulics business division of Wipro Enterprises and has been in the business of manufacturing hydraulic cylinders, truck cylinders, and their components since being established in 1976. It also includes the company's industrial water treatment business. This division delivers hydraulic cylinders to international OEMs and represents the Kawasaki, Sun Hydraulics and Teijin Seiki range of hydraulic products in India. It has entered into partnerships with Kawasaki and aerospace company EADS. Major Customer : JCB, TATA Hitachi, Caterpillar, Kobelco, M&M, CNH, Volvo, Takeuchi. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handling the below mentioned gauges and instruments. Digital & analog micrometers and vernier callipers, 3 point micrometer, Profile Projector, ID bore dial gauge, Snap Gauges, ID &OD Air plug Gauges, Filler gauge, Radius gauge, ID & OD Thread Gauges, Pitch micrometer, Plain Ring Gauges, OD Groove Micrometer, ID Groove Dial Gauge and Height Gauge.

Finding the below defects while doing Final inspecting. Thread damages, Thread go not answer, No go answer, Spigot O/S & U/S, Plating & Handling Dent, Crack, Scratches, Line Mark, Rod’s OD over size & undersize, Plating Thickness Low, Plating peel off, de-flash chattering, De-flash Radius Unclear, De-flash Dia U/S & O/S, Dig mark and Rod eye Damage.

Ensuring the below Parameters in Machines (Patrol-Inspection) In Cutting Machine: Tapper. In Grind Master Polishing Machine: Plating thickness. In CNC: turned rod’s total Length, Concentricity, Cushion bore run out, Groove Diameter & Width, Profile length, Spigot, Thread pre-roll diameter. In Thread Rolling: Thread major & Minor Diameter. In Friction Welding: Bore offset, Thickness offset, Perpendicularity, Total length. In de-flash Machine: radius, In Final Polishing: Surface Finishing, Plating Thickness. In VMC: parallelism, ID Bore and Rod eye thickness.

CNC profile prove out with the aid of profile projector.

Identifying & analysing the Quality issues through 7QC tools.

Preparing the 8D against the each and every Customer complaints.

Playing a role of member in NPD team.

TPM member in Robo polishing Machine

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Received WIN STAR AWARD from the management for increasing the productivity of steering to 30% with existing resources(Non functional portion’s radius was changed from R0.8 to R1.2)

We had a repeated customer complaint of thread shear-out on A21 part no, so We proposed to R&D to make Groove and implemented successfully, hence achieved 0 complaints.

we had a major complaint of Rod Eye Thickness U/S, so we implemented Milling operation’s cutting path changed, hence no complaints received.

We had a repeated customer complaint of thread Major Diameter U/S, To avoid it we implemented a POKA YOKA system after Thread Rolling Machine.

We had a repeated customer complaint of Bore o/s in Swing cylinder rod, We connected the bore checking instrument to VMC Machine(M-Code) so we achieved 0 complaint by doing this POKA YOKE.

We Received a repeated complaint on U88 & Q25 part no which are almost similar.so, we introduced a groove in Rod eye face, then no complaint we received.

Earlier we received to many customer complaints with lack of awareness to give them a proper training I have made an Visual defect gallery with defect sample.

Received WIN STAR AWARD from management for improving the productivity by reducing the CNC cycle time

Received WIN STAR AWARD from management for increasing the production & CNC capacity by reducing the cycle time from 10.5 to 6.5minutes PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:
