I helped create text mining and sentiment analysis algorithms for a local retailing service using data from their customer feedback sections and product ratings in light of company financial and personnel growth. This led to the company boosting its sales by 23% in next couple of months.

Company Stock predictive modeling:

I helped in developing forecast models for a company’s stocks over the coming months given several market indicators, the financial state of the company as well as competitor's stocks. This helped the company boost their stocks by 14%.

HR analytics: JanataHack: HR Analytics (Analytics vidhya data science competition): A competition to determine which students of a training institute would pursue a career in their enrolled courses, to help companies in related fields, with candidate recommendations. Ranked within the top 1% of the 5536 registered contestants, and 80 teams.

JanataHack: Machine Learning for IoT (Analytics vidhya data science competition): A competition in which data scientists were required to predict traffic congestion at 4 major junctions of a city, given traffic data recorded hourly. My score ranked within the top 20 of the 7429 registered contestants and 47 teams.

Food Demand Forecasting (Analytics vidhya data science competition): The competition entails forecasting food demand for a meal delivery company operating in multiple cities to aid planning of stock and staffing of their various outlets. Ranked within the top 3% of 10,727 registered contestants.

Fraud Detection in Credit Card Applications (Python, Pandas, Matplotlib, Artificial Neural Network

(ANN), Self-organizing Maps (SOMs)): This was a personal project in which I was required to determine which customers in a bank have committed fraud. The task was an unsupervised learning challenge.

Hash Analytics Capstone Project: Company Attrition: This project required data scientist to extract insights from data of a company with high attrition. They were: i. Reasons employees were prone to leave. ii. What types of employees were prone to leave? iii. Predict which employees are likely to leave in future. iv.
