ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Secure File Transfer
Collaborated with 3 teammates to implement the secure file transfer protocol via cryptographic tools between 2 virtual systems (Ubuntu). We collected the contacts in such a way that only registered people can transfer the file and secured them using salting and hashing. We succeeded using MD5 to transfer files.
Successfully utilized python and other security protocols like functionalities of server socket to access file from server to client side. We encrypted the password during login along with the whole data in the huge file during transfer.
Library Management System
Designing the web page using the PHP and JavaScript. It is the computerized system which helps the person in the library to manage the daily activities into the system database. Performed unit testing.
The optimization of the felt me challenging but, I with the algorithm and optimization techniques I achieved to optimize the code. This project reduces the risk of paperwork, file lost, file damaged and time consuming.
DNA Sequence Alignment
Computed the optimal sequence alignment of 2 DNA strings by using dynamic programming Needleman Wunch algorithm by calculating the edit distance of the strings.
Used static method to find the minimum number of integers and optimal distance with the good processor speed. I learned how to use valgrind to debug the program.
