Project: Malaria Parasite Detection Based on Deep Learning Techniques Objective: To design cost effective and easily accessible malaria detection system for areas with fewer facilities.

Description: To design a cost effective and easily accessible system for malaria parasite detection using blood cell images. NIH malaria dataset were used to create, train and test a model built by using Fast AI v2. Various methods like fine tuning and mixed precision were used to achieve best results with less CPU and RAM requirements. Currently continuing with the research and planning to publish it as a journal.
