Testing Analyst — Hancock Whitney
May 2020 – November 2020
Hancock Whitney partnered with Actimize to employ a robust fraud detection system and reduce costs associated with fraud. Atos Syntel’s role in this project was to aid in developing and executing a test strategy.
My Contribution:
Test Script Development
oPrimarily responsible, along with one other team member, for writing test scripts to meet fluid business requirements.
oResponsible for editing and updating test scripts to better suit changing business needs.
Test Execution
oResponsible for executing test scripts and logging the results in Quality Center.
oResponsible for discovering, logging, and retesting defects in Quality Center.
EP Business Analyst — HCA
June 2019 - March 2020
HCA’s goal for this project was to increase efficiency and optimize operating costs in check processing by implementing an electronic check processing system to handle payments from individuals and health insurance companies.
My Contribution:
ERA Enrollments
oPrimary Point of Contact for client coordination and enrollment status.
oResponsible for documenting, updating, and researching enrollment processes for various payers.
oResponsible for checking the SQL Server database for dataflow after enrollment completion.
Missing ERAs
oSecondary Point of Contact for missing ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice)
oResponsible for researching the missing payment data by following outlined procedures for each payer and communicating with support teams.
oResponsible for reintegrating data for missing ERAs into the database.
ETL Developer - HCA
June 2017 - April 2019
The purpose of this project was to ensure a timely flow of medical data to patients, doctors, and nurses to assist in monitoring and treatment of health issues. This goal was accomplished through the development of new ETL processes and a 24-hour on-call support rotation.
My Contribution:
Overall
oDesigned and implemented new processes using SQL, Unix, and DMXpress.
oAnalyzed healthcare data in order to best meet client needs.
oProvided on-call support for errors in SQL job execution and resolved failures in a timely manner to ensure minimal business impact.
oResponsible for maintaining and improving existing ETL processes, improving speed and reliability in job execution and minimizing errors.
CareAssure
oDesigned and developed backend SQL procedures for new processes for the CareAssure application.
oServed as the primary Point of Contact (PoC) for issues and updates regarding backend ETL for CareAssure.
oResponsible for maintaining existing processes, troubleshooting job failures, and testing new developments.
oResponsible for managing and troubleshooting database connections within a SQL Server environment.
CJR, BPCI, and UpToDate Monthly Loads
oResponsible for manually executing monthly SQL procedures and ensuring successful processing of data.
oMaintained a list of multiple SQL jobs and their dependencies in order ensure proper execution and preserve documentation.
oResponsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with monthly job execution.
Pyxis
oServed as a secondary Point of Contact (PoC) for backend ETL for the Pxyis application.
oResponsible for development and testing of portions of the Pyxis application.
oResponsible for backpulls of older data when a new hospital was onboarding with the application, or data had otherwise been missed in previous runs.
OnCall Support
oParticipated in a 24-hour support rotation with onsite coworkers and an offshore team, serving as a primary point of contact and a secondary point of contact for ETL job failures.
oResponsible for troubleshooting and resolving ETL job failures across a wide variety of projects in a timely fashion while serving as primary or secondary support.
oCoordinated with team members to update existing scripts in order to permanently resolve or mitigate future job failures.
